What does ABV mean?

ABV stands for alcohol by volume. It is a standard measure of how much alcohol is contained in your beer. A higher number means more alcohol.

How Any Beer ABV Came to Be

In 2010, Joe and his friends were at a bar debating which beer offered the "best bang for the buck." Essentialy, which beer had the most alcohol per pint.

After scouring the Web to no avail, Joe set out to create his first app, Any Beer ABV for Android. A few years later, Joe also released an iPhone version.

Any Beer ABV has grown from offering an initial 1,000 beers' ABVs to providing over 7,500. Every request for a missing beer sent in by users is added to complete the collection.
